2020-2023

In 2020 I began to make small tests with watercolour, experimenting with its forms and possibilities. The exercise was a liberating process, the abstract presented itself as a new world and language by itself. For this series I have used large format digital photographs taken on different natural surfaces, where playing with different techniques learnt in watercolor composition, I apply the digital techniques of negative development, colour and saturation, in order to explore and reveal what was hidden in the image. The negative development now allows me to see what was hidden at first glance, forcing the observer to see from its opposite, revealing a new universe and a new dimension of nature, which has always been there, waiting to be discovered.
