Hidden Narratives 2024 – On Development In the vast tapestry of nature, there are elements that transcend their physical existence, offering glimpses into the abstract and the profound. This photographic essay explores the intricate and often overlooked beauty of natural surfaces such as stones, sand, and water, captured from diverse locales across the globe. Each image serves as a portal to deeper meanings, resonating with the subconscious mind of the observer and revealing the hidden narratives that lie beneath the surface. Each image in this collection is more than a mere representation of nature; it is an invitation to explore the deeper realms of the human psyche. The abstract forms and textures discovered in these natural surfaces act as mirrors to our inner worlds, reflecting emotions, memories, and dreams that often remain hidden from conscious awareness. By engaging with these images, viewers are encouraged to embark on a journey of introspection and discovery, uncovering the profound connections that bind us to the natural world and to each other.

GMTA Good Morning To All On Development Transmedia and collaborative project that explores the origin and celebration of birthdays, one of the oldest and most popular traditions in the world celebrated by millions of people from different cultures, countries and beliefs. A manifesto to diversity that invites us to reflect on our human relationships and the passage of time. Birthdays celebration makes sense only during a special day, an extraordinary day in the ordinary life that commemorates the precise moment when a person’s life begins. Although ancient civilizations celebrated it thousands of years ago, it was not until the beginning of the 20th century when its celebration (and commercialization) became popular worldwide along with the famous song “Happy Birthday to You”, which is currently sung in more than 60 countries with billions of people around the world. But not everyone sings this song and not everyone lives their birthday in the same way. Good Morning To All proposes a journey through the five continents, looking for the origin, history and meaning of the birthday celebration through the testimony of specialists and people from different cultures. At the same time, it invites people from all over the world to collaborate in the research process by sharing their stories, photographs and videos, which will then be selected and exhibited through digital platforms and interactive installations. This is a small tribute to a tradition that resists the passage of time and whose re-signification can open the door to a greater dimension for the understanding of ourselves and the society in which we live.

Consider Apart from Concrete Existence The real world, the world we call real, when it is not defined by words or images known through our imaginary becomes an abstraction, a reality considered apart from concrete existence, that challenges the viewer to observe in a different way. For this project I used large-format digital photographs taken on different natural surfaces washed and shaped over time by the flow and movement of water and wind, and post-produced them using the technique of negative development, in order to explore and reveal what was hidden in the image. The result is this photographic series, that works as an invitation to see beyond the real world, to see from its opposite, revealing a new universe and a new dimension of nature, which has always been there, waiting to be discovered. ____ Exhibitions 2025 – CICA Museum (South Korea) – Group Exhibition Publications 2025 – Horizon Magazine (United Kingdom) 2024 – AlTiba Magazine (Barcelona)

Una ilusión más A photographic essay on identity and contemporary colonialism in Yucatán. México – year 2023 The street is a living archive—a dynamic canvas where societies express themselves through signs, symbols, rituals, and the echoes of history embedded in everyday life. It offers a lens through which to explore the invisible structures of power, resistance, and memory that continue to shape the communities that inhabit it. Within this space, collective identity is both performed and contested, shaped by the convergence of cultural memory, economic forces, and political narratives. Far from being static, identity is continuously constructed, negotiated, and challenged. This photographic series was developed in 2023 during a one-month journey through the Yucatán region of Mexico. Over the course of 30 days, I traveled across towns, villages, and landscapes with the aim of observing what lies beneath the visible surface. What emerged from this process was a reflection of layered temporalities, a visual essay that explores how colonial histories persist in contemporary life, manifested through architecture, language, iconography, and popular culture. This photographic series raises a critical question: How do collective identities—shaped at the intersection of local traditions and global influences—inform our understanding of history and frame our imagination of the future?

Underlines UNDERLINES 2020 – 2023 At the end of 2023 I found the notes I took with my e-book, between 2020 and 2023. They were all in a digital file. Isolated, out of context. I don’t know why I highlighted those particular phrases. They were taken in a haphazard way, just guided by my curiosity, thought, or mood at the time. In the same way I take photographs sometimes, I don’t always know why I take them. It was as if I had taken photographs of the books I read, of those phrases, passages, that meant something to me at the moment. Like an unconscious search to find something, to understand something. To review and try to understand my inner search during this period, I went to my photographic archive, looked up all the photographs I took during that period and placed them next to the sentences I underlined. The result is this book, a kind of map of dots, as if these universes finally came together to write the internal story that my unconscious has been underlining.

Saudade 2018-2024 Saudade is a Portuguese expression that refers to an emotional state of melancholic or profoundly nostalglic longing for a beloved yet absent something or someone. It is often associated with a repressed understanding that one might never encounter the object of longing ever again. It is a recollection of feelings, experiences, places, or events, often elusive, that cause a sense of separation from the exciting, pleasant, or joyous sensations they once caused.
